Echoes of the Thorn-Crowned Flame

Winter 1297, Priory of Paray-le-Monial. Novice Josepha beheld a vision during Matins: Christ's Sacred Heart crowned with thorns ablaze yet unconsumed, golden radiance flooding the choir stalls. She captured the miracle on oak panel, inscribing "HIC COR EST LUX" (Here the Heart is Light).

Centuries later in Alsace, QIADGE artisans rediscovered her Gothic sketch. Using beechwood from the same Vosges forests, they employed 13th-century carving techniques. At the 40th thorn carved, golden grain emerged spontaneously - as if the sacred light had awaited its resurrection.
